MANZI NDI UMOOYO RAIN PROJECTS
Manzi ndi Umoyo projects is a water Supply improvement project aimed at improving the provision of clean and safe drinking water to the communities of Bauleni and chainda funded by The Coca-cola Africa Foundation (TCCAF).
BAULENI
This project intends to have an impact and benefit over 20000 people in Bauleni.The scope of the project included the following:
- Construction of 5km of water distribution network
- Construction of 108m3 reservoir tank
- Modification to communal water facilities to fit prepaid meters
This project was successfully completed and has seen customers having access to clean and safe drinking water. All planned works were completed as at 30th June 2016.
CHAINDA
This was another Manzi ndi Umoyo project that had a target population of 35000 people in Chainda. Scope of work included the following:- Construction of 4km of water distribution network
- Installation of 108m3 elevated tank
- Installation of 450 house connections and domestic meters
- Modification to communal water facilities to fit prepaid meters
This project was successfully completed and has seen customers having access to clean and safe drinking water. All planned works were completed as at 30th July 2016
