Kabanana Water Supply Project

This is water supply improvement project for kabanana that has been experiencing erratic to no water supply. It is a devolution Trust Fund (DTF) funded project that was estimated to cost 1.8 Million kwacha.

The scope of works involved:

• Laying of the new 2km water distribution network
• Rehabilitation of the Kabanana Tank that has been in a deplorable state for a long time.

The works on the tank have since been completed with the remaining interconnection of the network in zone fourteen (14) to Forty (40) expected to be completed by end of January 2017.

This will see improvement in the supply of water in kabanana to benefit over 22000 people.
